🌟 Farmer’s Assistant Program

Exclusively for Ages 12–18

Ready to step up?

Farmer’s Assistants work closely with Farm Teachers to help lead and manage small groups of students. Each assistant is paired with a teacher and helps oversee approximately 15 students.

🍎 What’s Included

Daily snacks are provided, such as:

🧀 String cheese
🍪 Ritz crackers
🐟 Goldfish
🍓 Fruit snacks
🍦 Ice cream sandwiches (Thursday only)

Important: Snacks are not intended to replace a meal.
Please send your child with a full belly — they will be working hard and playing hard.

If your child has dietary restrictions, please send a personal snack each day.

Behavioral Expectations Policy

Our goal is to create a safe, structured, and fun environment for every participant.

✔️ Basic Participation Requirements

All children must:

🚽 Be fully potty trained
🤝 Be willing to participate in group activities
📋 Follow directions and respect instructors
👥 Stay with the group at all times

🚨 Behavioral Issues & Parent Notification

If a child becomes:

• Uncooperative
• Disruptive
• Aggressive
• Refuses to participate
• Engages in prolonged meltdowns

Parents will be contacted immediately and must be prepared to return to The Farm promptly.

🔁 Re-Entry Policy

If a parent is called due to behavioral concerns:

• The child may not return for the next scheduled class
• Re-entry requires a parent/guardian to remain onsite for the full session

We understand that children have off days. However, The Farm is not a specialized care facility and cannot accommodate severe behavioral disruptions.

We are committed to providing every child with a joyful and enriching farm experience — and that requires all participants to be safe, cooperative, and ready to engage.
